Tech Tree Games - Community Code of Conduct

 

At Tech Tree Games, we are proud of the communities that have grown around our games. Whether you are playing, participating in community spaces, creating content, or contacting support, we want every player to feel welcome, safe, and respected.

This Code of Conduct applies to all TTG games and all official community spaces, including in-game chat, Discord, social platforms, livestreams, and support systems. By participating in any TTG space, you agree to follow this Code, our Privacy Policy and EULA, and any applicable platform Terms of Service. This Code may be updated at any time.

 

1. Core Principles

  • Treat others with kindness, empathy, and respect.

  • Help foster an inclusive environment free from harassment and hate.

  • Follow moderator and staff directions in official spaces.

  • Provide feedback constructively. Criticism of games or features is allowed, harassment of individuals is not.

  • Be a fair and respectful representative of the TTG community in public spaces.

We welcome thoughtful discussion and feedback about our games. Disagreement is not a violation of this Code: Personal attacks, targeted harassment, or attempts to disrupt the community are.

 

2. Respectful Conduct

Across all TTG spaces:

  • Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, discriminate against, or target other players, moderators, or staff.

  • Keep usernames, profile images, and shared content appropriate.

  • Respect boundaries. Ask before sending direct messages or friend requests where applicable.

  • Do not share harmful, illegal, or explicit content in official spaces.

Constructive debate is welcome. Abuse is not.

 

3. Fair Play

  • Do not cheat, exploit, automate gameplay, reverse engineer, or deliberately abuse bugs.

  • Do not distribute or encourage the use of third-party tools.

  • Report bugs or exploits privately through official support channels.

Maintaining competitive integrity protects the entire community.

 

4. Community Spaces

Each official community space may have additional posted rules specific to that platform.

In general:

  • Keep discussions in appropriate channels and on topic.

  • Do not spam, advertise, or post unrelated promotional content without permission.

  • Respect moderators and community managers.

  • Follow the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines of the platform you are using.

Language guidelines:

  • English may be required in some spaces for moderation purposes.

  • Dedicated language channels or servers may operate in other languages where clearly designated.

 

5. Streaming and Content Creation

  • Follow platform Terms of Service when streaming or posting content.

  • Only stream in official community channels if permitted by that space’s rules.

  • Do not stream adult or unrelated explicit content in official TTG spaces.

  • Respect intellectual property rights when creating or sharing content.

We encourage creativity, guides, strategy discussion, and community-driven content that helps the player base grow.

 

6. Privacy and Safety

Protecting personal information is critical.

  • Do not publicly share personal information about yourself or others in official spaces.
    Personal information includes things like passwords, account credentials, full payment details, home addresses, or other sensitive identifying information.

  • Sharing general information such as your country or city is allowed at your discretion, but do so responsibly.

  • TTG staff will never randomly request your sensitive personal or payment information.
    Information may be requested by support only if you have initiated a support request and only to the extent necessary to resolve the issue.

  • Only share requested information through official support channels.
     

All data use is governed by our Privacy Policy.

 

7. Moderation and Enforcement

Moderators and staff enforce these rules at their discretion in official spaces.

Consequences for violations may include:

  • Warnings

  • Content removal

  • Mutes

  • Temporary suspensions

  • Permanent bans

Players may appeal moderation decisions through the official appeal process where available. Moderator decisions are final unless successfully appealed.

 

8. Reporting Misconduct

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code:

  • Use the reporting tools available in the relevant platform.

  • In the Discord server, use the designated ticket or reporting system.

  • Provide relevant details or evidence when possible.

  • Do not initiate public callouts or harassment in response.

We investigate reports in good faith and aim to handle them fairly.

 

9. External Policies

All players must comply with:

  • TTG’s Privacy Policy and EULA

  • The Terms of Service and Community Guidelines of the platform being used

  • Applicable laws and regulations in relevant jurisdictions

Failure to comply with external platform rules may also result in moderation within TTG spaces.

 

10. Our Commitment

We are committed to maintaining communities where creativity, competition, feedback, and camaraderie can thrive. Healthy criticism helps games grow. Respectful conduct helps communities thrive.
