Tower Tea - January 26, 2026

Hi pals, welcome to this week’s Tower Tea! This week we have a (half) answer to your burning question “V28 When?”, a reminder, an update on creator codes, a Tower update from Sam’s Tower, and this week's Question of the Week.

V28 When?

Yes, we’ve seen the questions, and I am here to give you an update.

I can confirm it won’t be released in February. We are working on it, it is coming, but a date has not been set. We love the enthusiasm, we’re stoked too, and we appreciate your patience!

V27 was a bulky update, and we wanted to provide more minor updates along the way. After this, we haven't let up on the gas. There were a lot of improvements and changes, and we didn't want to wait for a bundled major release.

I can confirm there will be a minor update this week though, and the changes are simply gold.

Web Store Direct Link Removal

Here’s one last reminder to make sure you bookmark the The Tower Web Store! For some players (Google Play, USA), the web store links in the in-game Store will no longer be visible in a smaller update coming soon. That’s why we’re reminding you to bookmark it.

We are doing what we have been told to do in order to stay compliant with recent Google policy changes. If things change, we will let you know.

Okay, normally I would put a schedule here, BUT it would be essentially [Redacted], so, instead, I have one bit of news for you that is coming!

In early February, we will have an update on the content creator codes. No I won’t tell you more ahead of time, just be here in February.

Sam’s Tower Update

Okay, it’s been a bit, but some of you have been asking for an update on my Tower and here it is!

I am farming lower tiers to finish out the milestones

• Tier 1 - 2636

• Tier 2- 2430

• Tier 3 - 1501

• Tier 4 - 1511

• Tier 5 - 1280

• Tier 6 - 1223

• Tier 7 - 1222

• Tier 8 - 1033

• Tier 9 - 851 <- currently working on 1000 here

• Tier 10 - 448

• Tier 11 - 121

• Tier 12- 51

I am still in Gold, with my highest rank at 10, but I have missed a few tournaments with holiday/traveling/lack of cell service.

I am working on my last UW now. I have Chain Lightning, Smart Missiles, Death Wave, Inner Land Mines, Golden Tower, Poison Swamp, Black Hole, and Spotlight. I have 61 stones so I’ve got a ways to go lol.

I still haven’t bought anything outside of the Starter Pack, Disable Ads, and the Black Friday / Holiday sales. Someone did send me the Epic Pack and Gems though, so I did get to unlock a new card slot with my gems! (Thank you kind stranger, but also stop it ya silly goose.)
