Hi pals, welcome back to the Tower Tea! Today is a lighter one, but there is still some good stuff in here if you are into community events and some June previews. So, let’s get into it!

Patch Notes Are Here

Today is the day!!! V28.2 patch notes are live and the update is rolling out. Personally, I am really stoked about the Engine update, and really everything in there, so go check those out if you haven’t seen them yet!

What’s Coming Next

With V28.2 rolling out, here is a little look at what is on the horizon. We are currently working on our next minor update, which we hope to release sometime in June. This update will include some balancing adjustments, including an expansion on tools to help manage Fleets. We look forward to sharing more info about the next update soon. And yes, I am going to go into “corporate mode” for a second: we are already working on v29 content for Q3. (Does that sound corporate? Unclear, moving on.) What that means for you is we are actively trying to make sure you aren’t waiting forever between major updates. The team is heads down and we want to keep that momentum going. More details as we have them to share, you know the drill.

Today is the day!! We promised we’d pull the Cherry Blossom giveaway winners on May 26th and here we are! Congrats to the winners!! Creator Program Check-In

For those of you who applied to the Creator Program, I am almost done with the research/review of y’all, and once we have the swap over to the new creator platform finalized I will be sending out emails. They will still be arriving in June/July, but I am aiming for June if we can help it.

June Is Going To Be A Moment

Okay, I can’t say too much, but I have to say something because I can only keep so much excitement to myself. June is The Tower’s 5th anniversary month. There are some fun things in the works, a few giveaways, some shenanigans, and a couple pieces of content dropping from some familiar (and maybe new?) faces that I think you’re going to enjoy. And the Fudds article I teased is still coming too. Make sure you are following us on Instagram, just for reasons… More details soon!

Question of the Week

If you’re new here, we used to do a Question of the Week (QOTW) at the end of every Tea, but people thought it was too messy in the comments so we moved it to a thread of its own and almost no-one saw it. And then a bunch of people asked for it back. So I am just going to add one here, and we might have one every post or we might do them randomly as they make sense, but they are back here for now. So: What’s your favorite Tower memory? Maybe it’s a milestone you hit, a moment in the community, something that made you laugh, something that lives rent-free in your head, whatever it is, drop it below.
